Growing up, Katie cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, ferrets, fish and a hermit crab. Currently, along with her husband Joel, she cares for a German Shepherd named Delilah, three cats; Harlow, Harrison and Hendrix, and a rat named Petey. In her free time Katie enjoys volunteering with the Brodhead Jaycees and spending time along with her household.
